About Me

This page is devoted to a bit more of my why, not just what.

I’m Shalom tzvi shore

I was born in Jerusalem, Israel, to North American parents. I spent most of my life in Israel, so I speak fluent Hebrew, but then moved to the United States a few years ago.

My biggest value is authenticity. It’s difficult sometimes, but I strive to be as open and honest as I can be at all times, regardless of the repurcussions. I try to be true to myself and do what seems right for me regardless of how uncovnetional.

I also love learning things and having new experiences. I’m in my element when I’m wrapping my head around a new concept or simplifying a complex challenge.

“Looking pretty deep right around here, no? All introspective and such. This is a really great quote.”

My skills

I’m a professional dabbler. I love novelty and learning new things, and can pick new skills and ideas up really quickly. But as soon as I get the gist of things, I’m on to the next shiny topic.

I used to hate this trait, feeling very inconsistent. I’ve learned to embrace it over time, as part of who I am. And the upside is, I know a little about a lot of things, which creates an interdisciplinary approach that fosters creativity and otu of the box solutions. So take that.

I’ve found over time that I do cycle back to certain things. Some things do grab my attention and passion of the course of years, and it’s these things I’ve chosen to focus on in this site.

I have also noticed the patern of traits that lies behind all those different interests, and the way in which I approach them. Things that are hands-on, novel, involve other people. It’s these broader traits that are part of what defines me that form the common denominator
